Smt. V. Vani, Senior Member, Sanyukta Mahila Samiti, NTPC in her two-day visit to NTPC Bongaigaon as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility donated Swachhta Hygiene Kits to more than 40 children of Kathalguri LP School adjacent to the power station. Smt. Vani visited the school premises and donated the kits to spread the message of cleanliness among the younger generation and blessed them for a brighter future. The school management thanked NTPC for the gesture and continuous support.
On the occasion, Smt. Vani also donated the activity-based learning kits to the students of the same school. This project being done in collaboration with EdCIL, a Govt of India Enterprise has supplied materials for creating the learning lab in the school for students up to class VIII.The children at the school were thrilled to receive the kits and demonstrated how they had learned various concepts through the lab materials supplied to the school. This project is set to benefit both the learning and upskilling of teachers (to adapt innovative teaching methods), as well as the students (improving learning and retention levels).

Vidya Jha, Senior Member and In-charge, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, NTPC Bongaigaon also distributed the Hygiene kits to the school children.
The program was attended by the office bearers of the ladies club of NTPC Bongaigaon and officials of HR and CSR wing.
